frka Posted May 4, 2008 Share Posted May 4, 2008 I have a problem, I was playing on my crappy TV in my room, then I decided to go try out the HDMI cable on my flat screen, it configured automatically and everything was awesome. Thing is now when I'm plugging in my PS3 on my crappy TV (doesn't have HDMI support) it doesn't show any picture at all, cuz the settings are still HDMI and saved. I have tried to change settings but it doesnt work it just changes back to HDMI screen settings, so now I'm in a strange position where I can't play PS3 unless I play with the HDMI on my flat screen. I need your help guys, how can I fix this? Should I reset all settings to default or what? really needs some suggestions on what to do. I know this may be a bit off topic but I was playing GTA4 and this forum is very active. Cheers Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I think i read one solution is to turn on the ps3 when connected to your older tv, and hold the power button untill it bleeps twice (letting go after the 2nd bleep) then it should readjust the display to non hdmi.
