xxtremeguyxx2001
Hi, I was wondering, to exit out of GTA4 I hit the start button and then I hit the PS Controller button and then hit quit game, is that what you guys do? is there any way to exit out of the game in the menu. Can I hurt the PS3 by doing this? thanks

AnthoNY:.
Yea that's what I do, it's perfectly safe for all games you do that on the PS3.
sananoutlaw
yeah, I do that for every game. Pause then ps button, then 'quit the game'. i'm sure you know this but; if after you're turning console off altogeather, press power button til beep & red light, then flick switch at back (a lot of people just turn off at back). xer0er
I never flick the switch at the back.. Unless I'm doing something that involves moving the PS3 console. If you flick the switch to off, then you can't use the wireless features of the console.. Thus requiring you to STAND UP and WALK OVER to the PS3! Slamman
It doesn't offer On/Off either unless the PS3 button brings up the context menu, however, you can use front panel controls to override anything. Don't worry about hurting anything
