Its time for R* to go out USA and start to use other places in the world, like Japan tokyo, China Hong Kong, England London for the next GTA... rory990 Posted May 5, 2008 Share Posted May 5, 2008 (edited) i can honestly only EVER see GTA in a american city and personally i think it has to be a new city next no more going back on themselves now, rockstar has made a massive profit on this game and by the time they DO announce a new game they will of made ALOT more ! so i can see a new GTA in october 2009 ?? most prob chicago because that seems to be the last big city they haven't covered, or seattle but.. ? ? Don't forget, it only took GTA IV a long time because it was a massive move from last gen to Next Gen and they have the engine now so it's down to them getting there arses back in the office and making it ! but they should probably have a longer break than there all ready getting ! ! The reason is that in london it would just be to boring and in tokyo well... there will be no other gangs than the traids and the yakuzas. If not vice city then maybe GTA: Chicago or GTA:Montreal. The problem is that everyone want there home citys in the next gta. But face it will be boring if the game (for example) would be set in Key West. What would you do fight Sharks??? What im saying is that North America is the best if not the only place a 3d gta can take place in. And the radio stations: the radio shows would be boring and the music would also not please everyone if it was say in London. Oh and BTW im not american. Paigey Posted July 20, 2008 Share Posted July 20, 2008 I never thought about this before, I loved Vice City, and I don't care how good it looks if they ever do it, without Tommy I don't think it'll ever live up to the reputation of the original. I'd like to think Rockstar have an imagination, sure they won't go back and re-do Vice City, people will eventually become numb to it, it'll be different, but not totally different as to warrent a huge hype.
