Vice City is my favourite GTA (Soon to be GTA4 when I get it ) and personally i think it would be awesome to see how Vice City looks 20 years later But I dont see it happening.. Liberty City is done, it can't be improved anymore, and it's been used way too much. Vice City could be improved alot. San Andreas could be improved a little... but still... didn't like that place, maybe if they made a mexican gang side to the story... Mexicans ftw. Whenever a number changes, like III or IV, it means a major leap in technology (Except for 2). Did somebody forget GTA: London? London Hasn't Been Used since the 90's, i just have a bad feeling we might not see a next gen European gta... New York City ------ > Liberty City Miami--------> Vice City I think it would be good for them to venture out of the US but it would probably mean they have to stop being lazy and actually design a whole series of new cars, new radio station themes etc... Very strange though how R* have two main offices in the UK (Rockstar North and Rockstar Leeds), the latter being my hometown, but are yet to make a proper stand-alone gta game based in England. You do know Rockstar are Scottish? I doubt they'll do London or anywhere in the UK if they do another game, probably somewhere unusual like Japan or Russia. Then, as the police attention gets too much, escaping to Mexico (long chase sequence) and playing the second half of the game there, perhaps have some of the story set in the sticks where no-one speaks English, and the rest set in a lively tourist city. It would allow them a much wider free-run on creativity and imagination if they weren't tied to real-world settings/vehicles etc. What about GTA set in a space colony on the Moon or Mars! mattymcs Posted May 4, 2008 Share Posted May 4, 2008 People seem to be forgetting that R* hinted at moving the series out of the states and into Europe after San Andreas came out, which is why a lot of people thought IV would be set in London. As I've already said, they felt justified in using Liberty City again, I cant see them sayng the same about Vice City or San Andreas. What I would personally like to see them do is what I thought they may do for IV. A game set accross Europe, taking in London, Paris and Amsterdam. I dont see anything wrong with them taking a step in a different direction, and having cities in one game that dont necessarily form part of the same map, so you would actually have to go to the airport and get a plane to go to another city. Otherwise you could feasibly have London and Paris on the same map, just a decent stretch of water inbetween the two. You may be right about the the two cities point though. I dont think it would be much of a hassle to have to go get a plane to another city. People will soon get used to it.
