KieranMurphy
Is anyone else having some glitches and issues with the autoaim system? It's really only a minor gripe of mine in the grand scheme of things, but I find that the autoaim still has a tendency to pick on less dangerous targets, especially if you're not already pointing in the direction of the target you want to shoot, and when you're very close to your target the autoaim either won't work at all or will pick on a target in the distance. This has been an annoyance of mine ever since GTAIII and the reviews and previews of Vice City, San Andreas and not GTA:IV all claimed that this has been improved and fixed and is now much better and that it will now target the more dangerous and closer enemies, but I've found it to be still as buggy and annoying as hell. It's very annoying to kill 50 guys in some major mission only to have some guy 6 feet away kill you because Niko refuses to autoaim on someone to his left or right or behind him. StanMarsh
I haven't, but then again people are usually running away from me. I also don't go on random rampages too often, so I'm often in area where there are few civilians and many designated targets.
StudioVink
I don't use autoaim... I just aim myself: way more cooler
abacacus
dont use auto aim then, manual aim is actally more accurate after you get used to it, i can consitently nail someone in the head from about 300 feet with the deagle.

You can one shot anyone with autoaim on as well... I don't find it too much of a problem, occasionally it locks onto the wrong guy, but you just tap the right analogue stick left or right and switch target. KieranMurphy
I don't find it too much of a problem, occasionally it locks onto the wrong guy, but you just tap the right analogue stick left or right and switch target. But one of my problems is that doesn't work. When my enemy is right behind me, switching targets just flips between people in front of me, and meanwhile, some Mafia dude is pumping rounds into me and I die. Like I said, it's not a major issue, but it's caused me to have to replay some missions that should have been finished earlier.
