Trund
Why are you opening a post about an article that was published 3 weeks ago? It surely won't be a new City if the first episode is coming in August, and the developer team has a month off right now. So two months of working on the first episode smells pretty much like a missions pack, if you ask me.

I said 20gig is the size of the Hd's on the 360 most pple have lots of stuff on it already like my and i only hav 3gigs left. If R* were to make a new city im guessing it wud take up at least 4 or 5 gigs

odiedodi
I don't think it would work. From what i understand, DLC on the 360 is streamed from the hard drive. I don't think the 360 has enough memory to stream a whole city, and run the game at the same time. I'm not sure about this, but thats what I heard. Ego
Do we know if the downloadable content on xbox is free of charge? If it is then it's not going to be another city, at the end of the day Microsoft is a business.

They're nowhere near as detailed as Liberty City, but it's a start. Plus obviously there's Oblivion and Shivering Isles.
nicotin3
Exclusive DLC is a very sh*tty thing if you realise that R* couldnt put more into this game due to the xbox 360's limited storage capacity, wich undoubtfully ended up affecting other platforms in terms of game content (wasnt this the cause for the delay too?). R* is such a whore .
vg92
I think it will provide a new borough. Maybe Stauton Island?
Wilddtd
I think it will provide a new borough. Maybe Stauton Island? I thought part of New Jersey was already represented here? Any kind of new map possibilities would have to be related to Liberty City, but I have no idea what that would be, it will be interesting to wait and see. KieranMurphy
What I read (can't remember the source) was that the downloadable episodes on Xbox would be roughly as long as the Vice City Stories and Liberty City Stories storylines. I expect this content to cost something like $10 - $20. No way they're completely designing a new city for it. I think that new cities are going to be for future games on the current generation consoles. Vice City or one of the San Andreas cities completely redesigned and expanded for the next sequel with new characters and brand new epic storyline would totally rock. edit: A new area maybe wouldn't be unreasonable like an island the size of Bohan maybe, but no way a brand new full city. werppa
You should read the whole article: "So while it's certainly not impossible for Rockstar to cook up more cities for GTA IV's expansion packs, it's a difficult enough proposition that this rumor comes off as a bit tough to swallow (though, hey, we sure do hope that it's true)." So basically, they might or might not do that... So, this article is pretty pointless in the end
