Hobo-Lord
I wonder if the Xbox will also be getting some patch help (and if so if I'll be able to get it if I'm not online)? i find it extremly ironic when you ps3 fans said that the 360 could not handle GTA IV -oh and just to tell you, most gta IV 360 owners said it never frove (2.3% said it did) where did i get it from? the polls but im glad rockstar is responding to the ps3 owners, it would hurt sales if they didnt, which means the 360 DLC would cost more
Kyeb
No, fool... its nothing to do with the technical side, its to do with servers
Geretio
No, fool... its nothing to do with the technical side, its to do with servers But it's still on ps3 not 360, Not making a fanboy comment cos it sucks for ps3 owners, but the irony is great for us to laugh at the annoying ps3 fanboys, and feel sympathy for nice guys who have ps3s. Now... a way to get those 360 fanboys without bothering my one...
x_sgs_x
yea but the 360 has the framerate issue also and its not really a big deal to sign off to play but your intatiled to your opinion but whatever

Euro852
I guess I won't connect my ps3 to the internet just yet until they fix this issue. But mainly some of the gaming do require internet, such as the police most wanted, etc data??

Danhex
listen im not starting any beef, but i have a ps3 and a 360, both hooked up to my HD monitor/tv. The 360 runs the game smoother and with less glitches then my ps3...bottom line,
MrCarmine
-oh and just to tell you, most gta IV 360 owners said it never frove (2.3% said it did)where did i get it from? the polls self-reporting bias. they don't want to admit, in a poll, to having problems. ric-013
i own PS3/60GB,and my friend came to my house with his 360 and we played on both versions...i saw no differances. so i think its all our heads... that said,i miss the achivements on ps3,as well as upcoming DLC exclusives. DDR Midian
I dunno where people are getting the idea the 360 version has framerate "issues". For one, "issues" suggests it's a problem, which it definitely isn't. Secondly, they're usually using IGN's review as a source, and considering it mentioned framerate as an overall "hiccup", saying it only affects the 360 version is just twisting their words. Lastly... just about every 360 owner says there are no framerate problems. The reason they say it is because... it's true. I've played a good 40 hours now and it's fine. Now... a way to get those 360 fanboys without bothering my one... This is because microsoft owns the servers 360 users play on and they charge us for it. On playstation it's the game makers that control the servers. Microsoft prepared for this by upgrading their servers prior to launch so that they didn't get a sh*tload of problems like after christmas with COD4. (I remember this, It f*cking sucked) SOURCE : Kotaku - MS prepares for GTA IV: Xbox LIVE This isn't SONY's fault. This is Rockstars fault. And the PS3 users problem with the game getting stuck while loading is thereby Rockstars fault and has nothing to do with hardware problems on the PS3. PS3s suffer from bad servers run by game companies. 360s suffer from a crappy design that somehow let's the electronic sh*t inside melt during normal usage. But 360 has the best controller design ever invented and if PS3 had a similar controller I'd play all games on PS3
