saintdave Posted May 3, 2008 Share Posted May 3, 2008 I wondered this myself but when it has happened to me it’s been when the helicopter has sustained heavy damage so it’s probably a warning of sorts to inform the player that any more bumps and/or bullets would cause it’s explosion. I tried just grazing some building with the tail blades in an otherwise undamaged chopper and that set off the alarm, seems that it has particularly vulnerable spots. Seddo Posted May 4, 2008 Share Posted May 4, 2008 I wondered what the beeping noise was aswell, i first thought it was a 'your close to a hidden package' noise but i kept driving and the noise was still going so i thought it couldn't be that. sananoutlaw Posted May 4, 2008 Share Posted May 4, 2008 (edited) prob like planes/helicopters in real life (mainly airliners etc...) a siren of sorts goes off when you're heading for a serious f*ck up, or are already in such a situation. Kreepman Posted May 4, 2008 Share Posted May 4, 2008 It's the same noise in the film Cloverfield. when Rob, Beth, and Hud get in the helicopter and they get attacked by the monster.
