I just bought this damn game for the PS3... game went through the install process and has now been stuck on "starting a new game..." screen for 30 minutes. Vincenzo_NL Posted May 3, 2008 Share Posted May 3, 2008 I had thesame problem. It's a connectivity issue, apparantly. Sony + Rockstar are APPARANTLY fixing it. Disconnect your ps3 from the internet and play Singleplayer only. I heard it's because of Sony's servers overloading, causing some ps3 machines to not cope with the online functions of GTA IV.
