Steve Crook
Running GTA SA on a PC with Windows XP My DVD got corrupt and I had to uninstall everything and start again with a new DVD I've managed to set all the controls how I like them, except for one thing. I'm sure that when I was driving I could move the mouse to change the camera angle. This was especially useful when driving over the crest of a hill so that I could see better over the hill. After driving a short way further the viewpoint would revert to the natural setting for whichever camera angle I had selected. I don't mean the keyboard command to change the camera angle. That really alters the camera position. This would keep the camera in the same position relative to the car but would change it temporarily from looking straight at the car to let you look in other directions from the same position. It's a bit like when you're standing still you can move the mouse around and peer around corners or over walls. I have "Steer with mouse" and "Fly with mouse" set to ON Any idea which setting it might have been that let me do this? Steve
Ryan
I have "Steer with mouse" and "Fly with mouse" set to ON Any idea which setting it might have been that let me do this? Your on the right track. It is one of those two. I have my game set to the way you have described. I know that one on them is on and the other is off. I'm gonna say try turning off "Steer With Mouse" and see if that does the trick. If it doesn't the other one will do it for sure.

If you have "Steer with mouse = On" then moving the mouse back and forwards doesn't do anything but moving it left and right does let you steer left & right. But it's a very awkward way to drive as you still need the keyboard to accelerate and brake! But with "Steer with mouse = Off" I can change the angle as I described and can peer over the crest of a hill Many thanks Steve
