I traded it for a 360 today just so I could play with my friends and I got GTA for the 360. i immediately noticed differences. The colours are sharper, it seems less blurry and the shapes are less curvy, like the corners of walls, and have more definition. Just thought I'd share. More threads on how the 360 version looks better than the PS3 version or vice versa and more threads whining about the things they miss from San Andreas. Because you can never have too many threads on those subjects and what good is a single threads with a few hundreds posts on a topic when the entire forum can be cluttered with threads started every few minutes on the same handful of topics. What I DON'T believe is that you bought a new console and new copy of the game, when every retail outlet is not going to have the game on shelves for four months because of huge demand. I call bullsh*t. 4 months?! The best buy here restocked yesterday with about 120 copies. I talked to the manager (just out of curiosity, I had mine at 8 am april 29th) and he said they will be restocking in a few days after the copies run out each time. Slamman Posted May 3, 2008 Share Posted May 3, 2008 The colors were maxed in my settings and two things one must keep in mind, initially I got a very bright color pattern, but it grew dim, I noted this has some attributing factors like location along with time of day. If you are low on health as it goes black and white for a wasted scene, I think it indicates low health as well. I am most curious about those minute freezes when you are engaged with 3 or more stars of wanted level? I notice some consistancy there. It doesn't detract much and the same faults I see in NG's Uncharted appear here, like Niko flailing when trapped between two close objects he's trying to climb. Nate Drake does the same so there are similar programming glitches resultant to the hardware.
