Anybody else ID the serial killer? (spoilers)

I used the search function here but found nothing as far as who the actual serial killer is in the game. If you browse the internet in the [email protected] cafe, you will see in some of the newspapers (and even hear it on the radio) that a serial killer is on the loose in LC.

 

I then searched the blogs and found one with a pentagram avatar with the name eddielowslayer or something like that. If you read it, there are a bunch of sick minded posts and ramblings from an unhinged individual, specifically how he hates joggers (all victims are joggers I believe) and talks about mutilating and skinning them, it is quite clear after reading the posts that this guy is the killer. He also makes mention of his my home page, so I checked that out and sure enough, more of the same sick stuff. I then decided to grab a police car and lookup the name Eddie Low in the computer police files. Sure enough, up pops the mug shot of Ed Low, but I don't have the option to locate him like the other suspects, and his record only shows indecent exposure or public lewdness or something. Anyhow, if you see Ed Low around, kill his ass, he is the Liberty City serial killer. I'm not on here a ton, so if this is common knowledge I apologize.

He's one of the "random characters". He hangs out in northwest Alderney. The first mission you do for him requires you to take him to the pier so he can dump a duffel bag into the river (!) and the second time you encounter him he attacks Niko with a knife and you have to kill him. Both times he's ranting and raving and just generally saying crazy things.

 

I never thought to look for his name in the police records but as soon as I encountered this guy I was like "this is that serial killer you hear about on the radio". It's pretty obvious.

I hunted him down, too. Northwest Anderney, you say? Looks like I have to do some more storyline missions. I'll hunt him down! Cheap suit or no cheap suit! Stolen cop car or no stolen cop car!

I believe he asks Niko "do you think animals masturbate?"

You know that little friend icon that shows on your minimap? Well eddie is one of them in the last island. He has a bag full of dead boys and he tells you to take him to the ocean and he dumps the bodies. He says things like "Just taking the kids out" then once he dumps them you drive him to this area and he says "this area is really good for finding boys, eddie loves little boys"
