How I fixed GTA IV from freezing on the PS3

Hello to all,

 

I just signed up to offer some help to at least some people.

 

I had the same freezing problem on my 60GB PS3 when running GTA IV, but it got significantly worse when I tried to get on multiplayer.

 

My solution was to delete the GTA IV profile file within the saved game data directory. -- No need to delete the game data or the saved game data (at least for me).
