The reason I am asking is that I connect my PS3 via an ethernet cable directly to my modem without using a router and as I only have one ethernet socket in my modem I am not connected to the internet via my PC at the same time as I am connected on my PS3. Would I be able to access the patch via the PS3? I know you obviously can't play online because your ping would be high, and there would be warp, but can you still access some features or dose a PS3 require a highspeed connection??? BUNBEE2008 Posted May 4, 2008 Share Posted May 4, 2008 Mine has been acting up since last thursday and when I try to play any game including GTA IV it will just sit at the main media bar screen when you first turn on the playstation and wont load up any disc. I have tried everything to get my PS3 to work and nothing works so I am going to send it in and it is really making me mad.
