Turd_Furgeson Posted May 3, 2008 Share Posted May 3, 2008 I just got the pistol from the Jamaican dude in "Jamaican Heat" mission. I lock on to any of the three enemies using L2. Then I press R2 all the way down (while still holding L2 to stay locked on), and nothing happens. My guy just stands there like an idiot pointing his gun and getting shot to death. What the ?? I know my controller works, because I play Burnout Paradise all the time, and R2 is the accelerate button for that game. Anybody run into this? I've even tried shooting random people outside of the mission, and it's the same. Just aims the gun at them, and nothing happens. I try mashing the button down, tapping it - nothing works. This is really frustrating. The graphics were a huge disappointment to begin with, and now this! I'm starting to regret spending my money on this game. . . Also, try switching to classic and see if those controls work properly. Logitech controller = fail Really, don't use non-sony controllers they always suck in my experience. The Sony controller will work. Here's the update: I charged up my Sony controller and switched to it, and sure enough - everything works great. I can shoot all the innocent bystanders I want with R2. LOL Case closed, I guess.
