spe411
I've played with the effects and radio volume sliders, but no matter what I try it seems that I can't hardly hear voices. It's especially bad while driving and talking on the cell phone. I can't make out the conversation over the sound of the car. I think the voice volume is tied to the effects volume. Why couldn't they just have included a voice volume slider? Anybody else having this problem? spe411
Bump. Anyone else offer any tips on how to make this better? Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/340136-volume-problems/?do=findComment&comment=1058017210 Share on other sites
Deuce Deuce
I don't really find any problem with it - try adjusting the settings on your TV. Or just turn subtitles on. Makes it a lot easier for understanding conversations (not just in cutscenes) especially when you're with Jacob. stu.yates
Yh, I have a problem hearing phone-conversations when driving too. Good idea about the subtitles though. I'm all over that recommendation. Telimaktar
I'd like to suggest that the patch or DLC maybe allow adjustments to the voices both during phone calls and cutscenes. Also had a problem especially when Little Jacob speaks, really need to hear him properly to understand what he says. Why couldn't they just have included a voice volume slider? Anybody else having this problem? PS3 or 360? On my 360 it's "normal" compared to other games but on my PS3 it is about 50% of "normal". I'm using HMDI with digital audio output through my TV to my 5.1 box. I've not tried to connect the PS3 directly to the receiver as the sound is perfect anyway except I have to turn up the volume. ratphour
What would be neat, if you were using a bluetooth headset, and it was connected, when the phone rings, it would output to the headset .. Well, at least for me it would be cool. On the PS3 I have the problem with hearing phone conversations while in the car, damn, have to stop the car, and hope there is a quiet spot just to hear what the heck they are saying. Harry Balls
Yeah, I've had to pull over and stop driving because the engines were so loud that I couldn't hear the talking. Couple that with radio and I couldn't hear everything. Mind you this was all before my system tanked on me. The only solution I've found is to turn down the music to practically zero but when this gets back up and running I'll try the subtitles.
