I was seeing alot of people with the freeze problem during the game, which then makes the game always freeze at the loading screen, but ive been playing since Tuesday now without a hiccup, so i thought i was lucky not to have this problem, but just now, i was returning from a mission with Brucie, and i was driving at high speeds, i crashed into a taxi and boom, the game froze, i switched off the PS3 and back on again, NOW THE GAME WONT EVEN LOAD!!!! Honestly, i was so happy to be playing freely on this awesome game, and now this, f*ckin hell, Rockstar REALLY need to get a solution for this, i cant be f*cked to start again just incase it happens again and id waste my time. Jesus, such a good game aswell. My PS3 is the European 40GB version, i bought it 2 months ago. Who thinks Rockstar will eventually release a patch or a fix for this? Many people are having this problem and i now know how it feels, out of all the games ive played, this was the first one that froze, this game needs serious fixing. Well, i just had to get that out of me EDIT: Really sorry guys, i didnt notice the pinned fix for this, ive just tried it and it has worked . How come anyway, is the internet interfiering with the game or something? Afraid so, people have had to bring their console back because of it. Or is that the XBOX 360 problem? Im not too sure. I know I'm just asking question like a nub, but the truth is I haven't even played the game yet. They better not charge anything for that patch. EA charged about $40 (?) for fixing the bug in NFS Carbon, in which the 911 Turbo and Shelby GT500 wouldn't appear in the game. Dicks! THEBIGZED Posted May 3, 2008 Share Posted May 3, 2008 First it frozed while loading and I was a bit concerned but thought it would be alright. Well, apparently it isn't. The game has now frozed several times during gameplay and loading and I thought it was only happening to me but luckily I came here. Guess I'll have to try to play it offline as it seems to be a solution that works. Hopefully I don't have to start playing thourgh again although I haven't played more than 10% of the story.
