GTA Load Issue HELP!

My save file on the xbox wont load up anymore and its really starting to annoy me!! When i start the game up it will get to the point where it loads your last game and then it says "Load Failed. Starting a new game..." After it starts the new game i try and load my game file from the start menu because its still showing up there, but it does the same thing again. I cant even play the game right now because i have to keep playing from the start everytime i switch my xbox on and i just cant be bothered doing that.

 

Anyone experienced the same thing? Can anyone help me?

Are you sure you didn't turn off the system or back out of the game while it was saving?

 

I did something similar last night. I started the game, played for just a minute or so to see if some settings that I changed would help, and then exited the game. When I started it back up it wouldn't load, tried three times, and when it finally did load, it froze up just a few minutes in. I think I may have backed out of the game while it was autosaving.

 

So.... I have a feeling I'm starting over today.

No i didnt do anything like that. When i first got the game i played it for a while with the autosave on. The next time i turned it on it didnt load so i turned off the autosave thinking it might have been that, and started the game again. When i turned on my xbox to play it again this time it did load and i thought that was it sorted. Yet, when i switched it on this morning it was not loading again, it's really frustrating!!
