What do you think is the best console to play LCS on? I personally prefer the PS2 because the controller is easier to use than the PSP controls and it's easier playing the game on a bigger screen than the small PSP screen.

I prefer Ps2 too, bigger screen as you said, and I find the sounds are better on Ps2, then the PSP Version.

PS2 version also has Cheat Device (GameShark and Ar MAx).-I confirmed GameShark does work for VCS and LCS.

 

On-topic-I prefer the PS2 version because it is played on a bigger screen and in my opinion is easier.

 

The PSP is good for playing while on vacation or travelling and for the Custom Track Player in game.

OT: I prefer the PS2, as I voted. It has a bigger screen, easier/better controller and it just feels like more of a GTA game! I've never played LCS on the PSP, but I think it wouldn't be as cool because the previous 3 GTA games were on the bigger screen.

For me, PS2 version is better because of:

1. Bigger screen.

2. Joypad consists of two analog sticks.

3. Lower price.

4. Normal PS2 emulator will arive soon.

Multiplayer is good but you play it by Wi-Fi, not internet connection. And I know nobody in our town who has PSP.

I don't need CheatDevice too cause I flew on Maverick in my PS2 version.

 

About VCS, PS2 is more better, because:

1. Less number of glitches.

2. No garage glitch. It's the main.

3. Normal empire building without crashing the game.

4. Exclusive content.

Yes, with Edison's CheatDevice on the PSP you can control the weather to make it snow.

 

CD is much more then just a Cheater, think of it as a Dev tool. The CD also has Construction mode allowing you to make buildings, place just about any object in the game anywhere you want, control time, control gravity, modify vehicles with PMG, and just about anything you can think of. That is why to me the PSP version has it hands down over the PS2 version.

It's fine thing for those, who likes change the game. I like to change San Andreas only (mods, programms etc.).

Yeah, you can put snow in the game by using Game Shark or AR Max

I played the PSP Version a little more, and I like the PSP Version better. The PS2 Version seems to be a little laggy, and on PSP, Because of cheatdevice, and multiplayer.

I have a question, I bought my LCS today and it never aims at cars, whenever I press the "aiming" button it aims at the closest ped and if I by mistake aim at a gang member they'll start attacking me unwanted.

GTA console versions never auto-target cars, only peds... Use the manual-aim for cars

Your gang members started attacking because you aimed at them, they thought you were going to shoot them

PSP for me, as the PS2 version not only lacks custom tracks and mutiplayer, but Rockstar seem to have not bothered to fix framerate issues which really stand out on a larger screen, plus there's less glitches to explore hidden rooms etc.

I would add CD, but i have firmware 3.9something!

PS2 version is better than PSP. the resolution of PS2 is bigger than PSP (yes. i know it depends on the size of your TV.).

PS2. I don't give a sh*t about if there's multiplayer or not, or snow.. the fact it's on an actual TV with a big screen instead of the small-screened PSP is a huge advantage.
