Unless Sony threw everyone some cash, it's universal that everyone is reviewing that the PS3 version looks and performs slightly better than its 360 counterpart. QFT ...says the Playstation owners ...sorry, but y'know you won't see a 360 owner saying that.... Wrong. I'm a 360 owner, and watching that video, my first response was: there's way too much bitching about systems when the differences are actually negligible. My 360 on the other hand, I had 4 if i'm not mistaken. And no this is not a shot at the 360, it just is what it is. If you think i'm trying to bring down you system I warrenty recipts for all of them stapled together from Game Stop and i'm sure a lot of you know what i'm talking about. They staple your new recipt to the old one right after they charge you another 50$ for another warrenty on the newly obtained system. You say you don't believe me, I will happily post pics of the recipt if neccesary. But i'm sure if you haven't had the problem you know of someone who has, everyone does. The PS3 one is not bad, and the grapgical "problems" really aren't all that bad, but I definitely can't wait to get my 360 back so i can play online with all my friends, only reason, the PS3 version is still excellent. I wish everyone could realize that. Shoot, I even turned the saturation on my PS3 waaaaay down--others acclaim the 360 for having brighter colors! These consoles should be purchased on preference. Better than I was expecting for sure. As for the differences? Negligible. I quite like the softer look of the PS3 for general cityscape, but like the sharpness of the Xbox in the cutscenes. KieranMurphy Posted May 2, 2008 Share Posted May 2, 2008 This reminds me of the ridiculous hoopla when someone discovered that Halo 3 was being rendered at a lower resolution and then upscaled to 720p/1080p and fanboys were all over it likes flies on a turd. Who gives a toss? I've got the Xbox 360 version and I've noticed that there's a bit of object popup and sometimes the high-res textures don't appear until the last minute so a building will suddenly change from blurry to sharp when you're right beside it. But it's the same kind of minor glitch that the PS2 GTA games had and doesn't make the game any less enjoyable. There's way too many video game fanboys and pathetic losers out there who are willing to argue and nitpick about the stupidest things. Just play and enjoy the damn game! Actually the PS3 is more choppy at some points. Look at the moment they were driving and the moment they were buying glasses. There is very little difference between versions. They are basically the same thing. Why worry about it. Everyone knows PS3 is a superior machine under the hood, but I like my 360 just fine. And I like my Xboxlive. I hear that many PS3 owners can't even get online because Sony does such a horrible job supporting developers when they are making online games. That's the same thing that happened to RBSV2 on PS3. Everyone blames it on the developers but it has more to do with Sony's horrible online support. mattsgames Posted May 2, 2008 Share Posted May 2, 2008 I dunno there was shocking popup on the PS3 version, considering the getalife building is a biglandmark in the game I would have thought they would have had a lower texture version of it. The PS3 version looked slightly blurrier but then at the same time that covered up some shocking low polygons for Nicos face (The nose looked square).
