I know there are different servers for each type of gameplay but like to have an idea before joining how many players there are and what language they they speak and also the game details. For example...someone can make a server saying...'UK people only' and gives you the game details etc, sometimes I like autoaim turned on and when I join a server that says like no autoaim then I leave it. Also some peopl choose to play 30 minutes and I only like 15 minutes for each map etc. Support me here if you think there should be server lists please. Server lists are a MUST with a ping indicator and how many people are in the room itself! It makes so much sense and makes life easier for everyone! I once ended up in a race with "People Carriers" and the host wanted it to be 8 laps! also one of the longest racetracks there is! >_< I quit kinda fast. omegavenom Posted May 2, 2008 Share Posted May 2, 2008 ya i hate the new PS3 systems were i am forced in to random rooms either 16 people or 2... in all honesty clans are almost pointless i can remember playing battlefront 1 and 2 clans would put up public rooms we can easily make clan battles, or recruit and you can chose who you can play with... i mean you dont have to invite all your friends, the room was always up or someone had a room and you can play anytime thats how it should be..... But yeah, there desperately needs to be a server list on the consoles. The multiplayer for this game quite frankly sucks d*ck. No server list, so you cant hardly organize games. With atleast 9 million copies sold, you would think they could host it themselves, instead of going with BS Gamespy servers that you can hardly stay connected too. No mini-games or anything, so theres really no point in "hanging out" with friends. No real spawn weapons, which makes playing more difficult since most likely you'll get mowed down while looking for a gun. Only 16 players, which is extremely weak compared to other games. I cant wait for this game to hit PC, because once it does the modding community will have a ball fixing the multiplayer. I always wondered what the SA:MP team and the MTA team would do for this game. By which of course I mean quick join or new game and nothing else. Is it really so hard to look on a list of games where you can actually see what the ping and player counts are like? I hate playing in a gme with certain settings all day then the next day I have to adjust to all new settings. Also, when you are in Party Mode it sends you back to freeroam after every match! I hate going into the Cops/Robbers mode, wait 5 minutes, then play... the match sometimes lasts less than a minute and your back to waiting an additional 5+ minutes. NovaBlack Posted May 4, 2008 Share Posted May 4, 2008 ok .. why oh WHY would anyone vote NO to the OPTION of having a server browser? i cant understand the logic in anyones brain who says that. you dont have to use it, there will still be a quick launch feature (just look at team fortress 2 for example) but saying NO to 'should there be a server a browser' just baffles me.
