piethief100 Posted May 2, 2008 Share Posted May 2, 2008 I know the game has only just been released but I'm already starting to wish that there were a few things a little different than they are. I read in Playstation mag that you would be able to listen to music on your phone. I think that this feature has been taken out which sucks. I'm listening to sound, as I imagine most people are, through my TV’s speakers. Because it's impossible to change the music, speech and other sound volumes independently I'm struggling to hear everything that is said through the mobile and can barely hear the radio over the engine. Dimming the music for a call only goes so far. All said though these are only minor problems with what is a great game. Anyway, what do you guys think should make the first patch? boon4376 Posted May 2, 2008 Share Posted May 2, 2008 (edited) less HDR, its over kill, i feel like i have glaucoma at certain times of the day Edit: oh and one more thing, can i set it so that the radio defaults to OFF everytime i get in a car? Etype X Posted May 2, 2008 Share Posted May 2, 2008 The lighting dynamics are to much, but cranking up the contrast and brightness in the game does help. Also on the audio, I ended up turning the sound effects down a bit, though I think I will lower them even more. I was looking forward to having the music play through the cell phone. Turn down the brightness and contrast and you can read the phone but not see where you are going. Not sure how this made it through in the first place. Etype X Posted May 2, 2008 Share Posted May 2, 2008 The upgraded color phone you end up getting later in the game has no contrast issues. But because the text is black, the default theme is the only one that is easily readable. Would be nice to have white text, or black depending on the theme used with the phone.
