Code4dakilla
please excuse if this has already been addressed, but i was wondering if anyone else had noticed this or if its just me thinking crazy...i picked up what seemed to me like a rare camaro like car...not like the ones you see all around the city this one seemed a bit different. its my understanding that there are rare cars in the game and i'm guessing this might be one of them. my question is, has anyone noticed if these "rare" cars handle better than their normal versions and if they are indeed faster in most situations? i was actually driving this camaro like car when i noticed another camaro with a nicer look to it. when i took that one it seemed as if it handled better and was a bit faster...is this true? osktom
The older camaro is not rare at all, you can find it anywhere. The higher end cars do preform better, but they don't have to be rare, the sentinel and the evo (not sure what its called) are not rare at all and there awesome. Cars spawn according to what car you're in so if your in a comet you'll see a lot of comets and less sh*tty cars.
SouleRonin
"SPOILER ALERT" Theres one mission with Brucie where you have to pick up a friends car to use in a race.... when you win he lets you keep this car (The porsche clone)...and even though it looks like the other "Fake Porsches" on the road, I swear it also feels like it drives differently.... I have saved this vehicle and used it twice already for missions where I absolutely needed a superior vehicle to hunt down or chase someone.... It so worth having to visit the "Pay-n-spray" once in a blue to keep a few sick vehicles at your disposal... Soule
Stuvas
I've noticed that there are some cars that seem to have a sport version, or just some letters after the name of the car. I got one of the range rover cars (can't remember their name in GTA) with Sport after it's GTA name, it seemed faster than the other range rover type cars, whether all of them have to "sport" bit or not i'm not sure, might of just been my imagination that it was different / slightly faster. You're talking about the Huntley Sport, which is modeled after the Range Rover Sport. It's not really a sport model, because there's no normal Huntley in-game this time around. 5192:12.3.02LM/SSHmkl

I thought you would never ask....lol. Driving for me in GTA is the main reason why I fell in love with the series and I'm happy that its only gotten better... AS stated before, I felt that the driving missions with Brucie are what finally brought the driving in game back to something I really enjoyed... First bit of advice is simple...really simple.. 1) Take your foot off the accellerator.... My wife made so much fun of me the first night I had the game and she watched me careen out of control, or smash myself up so bad the car became an oven and I was the pot-roast.... Like most of us, I was not used to the new car controls...and initially said "this [email protected] Sucks" Now, I kick it up to "Rampage Speed" as Brucie says..."We're Alpha Man!"....lol. I like to cruise at top speed and then I simply remove my finger from the accelerator as I try to pass vehicles. This little change allows me to thread the needle and squeeze between two cars when I have high (As in over 4 stars) wanted levels... This maneuver alone has allowed me to get rid of my wanted level on so many occasions...(works best on highways...where coppers can't come at you from the left or right) 2) Along with simply "Not" accelerating right before a turn, I like to tap the Left trigger button, and then turn into my desired turn very sharply, let go of the left trigger button, and then jam the right trigger button (Handbrake) as I slide into the turn. As soon as my angle is correct I jam the accelerator again.... Truly for me the thing that I learned which helped me the most, was simple learning when to release the accelerator, and when to give it gas.... Now, I go on rampages offline and get my wanted level nice and high...jump into a car and hit the highway to loose my wanted level.... (Releasing the accelerator is what I do whenever I make any kind of adjustment when driving...even something as simple as a little shift while staying in the same lane...at high speeds this will crash me, but if I simply remove my finger from the accelerator while I make this shift, I'm fine in any vehicle) If you need help, send me a PM.... JForce06
names of the rare cars are different too. I found a rare feroci, its says on the back: feroci JDM V10 normal version says: Feroci V6 well a V10 should be faster than a V6
