amaustin76 Posted May 2, 2008 Share Posted May 2, 2008 OK. GTA IV is a game, nothing more, nothing less. It is not GTA3, san andreas or any others. It is GTA IV. If you dont like the way the driving is ingame, then take a cab. Its that simple. I wish i could customize more but oh well. If you want to customize, hop back on VICE or San Andreas. Graphics are solid, not like real life but pretty close. I have a 40" Sony Bravia 1080p XBR4 with HDMI Cables, and full upscaling. Like I said the graphics are solid. If your graphics suck get a new tv or shut up and quit being cheap. I think this game really focused on the details. And why not. Lets try and make a game with a fairly new console with setting and graphics and hardware we haven't really worked with. Not that simple, and I think they did a great job. Think how much easier and less fun it would have been to make a copy of GTA San Andreas and name it differently and make easy cash flow. They wanted to be more creative while still keeping with the original ideas. I am not a hardcore gamer, not like i used to be. I can only get on at most 3 hours a night or less due to family and work. I wont fly throught the missions and don't want to. I want to get a feel for what the devs have done to make this the new face for rockstar. One nice touch i just noticed is that the longer you go without changing your clothes the more bloodstains are on them. More reason to buy clothes and do more personal missions. Also I never knew you could turn off your car. pretty cool.Helo's are cool, tanks are lame and planes were fun but not in this one. Multiplayer is cool with friends and it is just that. You get to play GTA IV online, just be thankful for that. Some people have the game and still cant go online. ( if you have problems getting online try testing your internet conection through the PS3. worked for me). overall there are a few glitches in the game, some things I wanted more of and some things I never expected.
