Removing auto-centering shouldn't be a difficult task, as it doesn't operate when you're stationary, and would definately benefit the game tenfold. Andyboy811 Posted May 2, 2008 Author Share Posted May 2, 2008 Errr, I'm not having freezing issues (i'm lucky) and I dont think it would be hard to implement (seriously a few lines of code). So yes, I would like to start a petition on this. From the people I've talked too, it is a major issue that can be rectified quite simply. If you've ever had trouble indoors when negotiating stairs, or driving and the camera is too low, or operating a helocopter it is due to the auto centering camera. Megalon Posted May 2, 2008 Share Posted May 2, 2008 I agree, this is easy to get used to but in the end it IS annoying and the game would benefit from a free non-centering camera. In a LOT of situations. If you can't see the benefits, hopefully if a free camera IS patched in you will understand once you play with it ;-) Was the same in manhunt, that had a stupid assed camera system.
