I had really REALLY been looking forward to hanging on to choppers etc. I tried hanging on to a van ONCE, and that was 10 min after I got the game. I have no idea how to do it. As he was just opening the door I ran with the car and his hands were hanging on the holder of the door and his legs were flying. Until I slammed the side of my car to another and then the b*tch got what he deserved. It was really cool though.. but I'm not sure if Niko is able to do that. I haven't tried actually.. The whole and sole reason to buy GTA IV was to hang on to cars and helicopters. That's not what he was saying. He says it was ONE of the reasons. I love the game, think it fantastic, but I am also slightly disappointed to see this feature is not as integrated as I thought. There is a screenshot which shows a character hanging from the chopper way above the city - that led many to believe it was possible and would certainly be welcomed in free mode. Maybe we are missing something and there is a way to "hang-on". It wont cause me to hate the game, but it is worth noting that it is a shame IF we can't do it. Spoiler I have just done the mission where you have to follow the Chopper and then steal it and fly it to the airport. I then got a phone call from Roman saying he has bought a new house. I hung onto the side of a semi for about 3 blocks before falling off. It just depends upon how fast the car/truck is moving and where you grabbed onto it (if it is turning, etc, etc). You don't ''learn'' to hang onto vehicles/choppers from a mission.. I JUST HUNG ON A HUMMER! WOO. I just HOLD down X next to it when it was driving.
