CrystalLight
I'm sure alot of us will agree on this. It's good to see a member's post count in the forums to see their activity and so forth. Girish
I'm sure alot of us will agree on this. The lot that doesn't agree is the staff and the lot that agrees doesn't matter. Besides, GTAF had this feature earlier. It was removed because it only induced spam where people tried to up their post count thinking it'd help them achieve superiority over others. Bullsh*t. GTAF is fine the way it is.
Pat
I'm sure alot of us will agree on this. I'm sure a lot more of us will dissagree on this. I fail to see why post count should be shown, even in profile pages. It only induces spam. Remember, quality over quanity. Just because you post a lot doesn't mean you're a productive member. The Unvirginiser
One of the biggest problems on this forum my man, is arseholes thinking that there opinion matters more than somebody with fewer posts. Your idea would noly increace the problem. However clicking on thier name still shows the post count. There was already a discussion on this issue mate: http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=315416
Yatesyz
It's fine the way it is and you can easily click on their profiles to see their post count anyway.
Vinnie
We've had this thread before, please search in future and you would have got the same answers. Post counts are not necessary to be shown, imagine the stupid flame wars which would happen because you'll get members arguing at they have more posts than another member. Svip
Indeed. Hell, why not get rid of the join date as well? How cares when people joined? Sure it shows some spirit, but it's not what's important. Besides, it will lose a lot of direct injustice towards newer members. You want to know when they're from? See their f*cking profile. The systems aren't that slow. There's no harm to it, yet everyone is against it.

GTA VLSA
i think things are fine the way it is although i wouldn't mind a post count being added, whats the harm? That's exactly my point. There's no harm to it, yet everyone is against it. I have the same thoughts. I'd like the post count being added, however. As said, it will do no harm. But that's not up to us. DigitalD
Instead of claiming it would do 'no harm,' could you outline some compelling reasons whereby the user's post count should be shown next to every post?
bagga rabbit
I'm sure alot of us will agree on this. It's good to see a member's post count in the forums to see their activity and so forth. What do you guys think about this? And most importantly, the Admins. Sure do have a lot of suggestions for such a new member. What's up with that? More than 98% forums on the internet have member post count in posts; that's where he comes from I guess. So, newer members are bound to find the missing post count odd. It's important to understand that most of those forums tolerate spam to a certain extent, GTAF does not.
Ryan
Sure do have a lot of suggestions for such a new member. What's up with that? Sure do have a lot of people making unnecessary post that don't contribute to the topic at all. What's up with that? On Topic: What's the big deal about the post counts being shown when someone makes a post? Is that how you judge someone? If you really want to see someone's post count that badly just take a whole 2 seconds out of your busy lives and click on their username to go into their profile. And just for the record, I'm on dial up internet (24.6kbs) and it only takes about 5 seconds for members profiles to load up for me.

*MURDOC*
Well, you have had thousands more experience, so youre probably right. But in reality, this forum is way better off without the +1'ers. I mean, who cares. We cares. We dont need it, theres not much of a point. And its not a big deal that we dont have it, so dont sweat it.

Clearly your "thousands more experience" is worthy of such a delicious treat. Back on topic: Post counts aren't going to be popping up on posts any time soon. As others have said, if you're that eager to know, check the profile.
