i build and repair pc's for a living...i bought a ps3 simply because i personally dont like the Xbox and for me, the tech specs of the ps3 and the fact that its a Blu-ray player made it the wise investment.

Damn dude your annoying. And I've heard it's mainly the 60GB PS3s having the problem and a few 360's? I haven't had a problem on my 40 and most of my friends say it works fine to on their 60GBs/360's. I don't think it's as bad as everyone says as it is only effecting a minority, but it'd suck to be in that percentage. But hopefully those 12 steps work for PS3 owners are having problems but it seems a bit long-winded to me.
