Rezter Posted May 2, 2008 Share Posted May 2, 2008 OK after completing most of the game I still ahve some left over Achievements which I'm struggling with, I was wondering if anybody had any pointers or a little guidance to help me achieve these. Finish Him "Complete 10 melee counters in 4 minutes" OK.. I know what I have to do.. I know how to do it.. but it's damn hard. I try to start fights and usually you can only get one or two counters in before they either run away or die. Then you start getting wanted stars because you're fighting and it's jsut annoyingly difficult, so any tips? Gobble Gobble "Score 3 strikes in a row, a turkey, in 10-pin bowling" I have tried this too many times but it seems to me that there is no technique to the bowling and it's just about luck... the most I have got is two strikes in a row. Is there actually a technique to it or do I have to keep torturing myself untill I get it by luck? Rolled Over "Do 5 car rolls in a row from one crash" It's obvious what I have to do.. I haven't really tried doing this but any tips on cars, locations? Chain Reaction "You must blow up 10 vehicles in 10 seconds" I have had trouble with this one too... usually whiel I'm trying to stack the cars up I get a wanted level and I end up rushing and failign the mission, so any locations or hitns that could help me? One Man Army "Survive 5 minutes on 6 star wanted level" The biggest trouble I have with this is... how do you get to 6 stars? Haha is there any sure fire way to get to six stars? I know you an get it by tryign to go over a bridge when it's closed.. but that won't work because I have all the islands open. So yeah, help? Any help at all will be great, thanks in advance. Haha is there any sure fire way to get to six stars? I know you an get it by tryign to go over a bridge when it's closed.. but that won't work because I have all the islands open. So yeah, help? Just hit their windows to get them out at you. It doesn't matter if they die, they are suppose to. Once they do, move onto the next guy. If you die, it is okay - your four minutes still continues when you are refreshed at hospital. So once you are alive again, run to the closest ped/taxi driver and start another fight. When the cops attacked me, I just let them shoot me to death, that way I kept my weapons and was respawned at hospital where I could just run and attack more to keep the counter attacks counting. I haven't really tried doing this but any tips on cars, locations? I think it is off San Quintien (SP?) St in Bohan, there is a good jump to use for it.. Not sure, as I didn't do it this way - but the stunt jumps are best for it. Block off a couple of the toll booths. Mash the cars nice and close together, throw in a grenade or two and start firing rockets into it quickly. Usually best to get more than 10 cars stacked door-to-door just to ensure 10 do blow up in the time required. Get a six star wanted level - if you haven't opened the other islands, then just fly there. Then fly out into open waters, and keep going. Just fly in a good pattern to make it hard for the helicopter to shoot at you. Fly around for five minute and Voila! - Driving through the subway also works. Rezter Posted May 2, 2008 Author Share Posted May 2, 2008 OK just got the one man army achievement by starting a new game and spawning the police chopper and flew around for 5 minutes... weirdly you don't get the achievement until you land the helicopter and get out.
