Help Please! Mission (Elizabeta/Packie)

Dear fellow GTA IV gamer,

 

I'm a little stuck on a mission where you have to protect Packie with the sniper riffle on the roof. Remember this one? Well, I was thinking I had good aim and I killed them all but I still failed. I can't seem to see who is doing the damage to him.

 

How did you complete this mission? It's weird. I didn't try to many times but I passed all the other missions first time.

Keep an eye on Packie, I was so busy clearing out the alley I didn't see him struggling with a guy with a knife. Aside from that I guess move left or right to make sure you see anyone hiding behind stuff.

Yeah, I think I was too concered too and didn't see what was going on. That's a big help. Thanks mate.

I was having the exact same problem, i was killing everybody but the same message kept coming up saying protect Packie and then he dies, i was really stumped on what i was doing wrong.

 

Then i found out that some fella has Packie in a grapple hold and you just have to shoot the enemy and then he's all safe again .

Well Seddo, It's reasurring to know there's other that got caught on that one. I actually tried running down the stairs whie the sniper tutorial boxes were popping up! By the time you get to the front door he's f*cked.
