roman nayatra Posted May 2, 2008 Share Posted May 2, 2008 i will have a national exam on monday which i must study so i try to not waste time when i'm playing i even didn't ate at burger shot ,buy new clothes, or play bowling but i spend a little time at the strip club lol but seriously you can save a lot of time when you go with a cab just get in, choose your destination,then press X to skip the journey even on mission with proud i still using a cab, it's 90 % faster than other cars example: from algonquin(times square) to michelle's house i think is about 132 seconds, but if you rather take a taxi it's only about 7 seconds! hope will help cheers! I actually enjoy the journey and looking at it from Nikos viewpoint..which is like RL, it feels as if your actually in a taxi in NYC. It reminds me of the Robert Miles - Children video! Don't know about multiplayer but's it LB to hail a taxi (you will hear Nico yell "Taxi Cab!!!" or similar... when you are close to the taxi, you will see a message to hold Y to enter as a passenger... That combined with the text message to replay makes it so much easier. come out of the hospital, say yes to text message. It's really great for getting places in Algonquin. The problem, as you say, is finding the stations. The other problem is that, if I use the tube or taxis too much, my driving skills deteriorate and I find the driving (racing) missions that much tougher. Personally I really dislike the racing missions - I wish they would either make them easier or do away with them altogether. The car chases have been the one thing that stopped me from completing both GTA: Vice City and GTA: San Andreas. In both games I got so frustrated at the level of driving difficulty that in the end I just stopped playing rather than face playing the same mission umpteen times without success. I bought GTA IV knowing that there would probably be a mission that would sour me on the game. I'm about half-way through the game and I haven't reached that point yet, but some missions have come close.
