BlackMilk Posted May 2, 2008 Share Posted May 2, 2008 (edited) My brother just bought the game this tuesday (from my money xD) for his PS3, and not long after we've played online we decided we wanted to get some friends together as regular teammates. We both play under his PS3 name, 'BigMistake'. That is, until I get my own account and/or Rockstar comes up with a patch which allows two players on one machine to play online simultaneously. FYI in team modes and every-man-for-himself modes we have different appearances, mine is an afro-american dude with toned-down clothing, his is caucasian. Naturally you can't see who's playing in co-op modes cos appearances are random there. (we're working on getting a working headset/mic! this is important for comm. in our opinions but we just haven't got one yet) We're both 18 but dare I say mature enough to adapt to any team I guess. After all we've seen plenty of older and younger players act like idiots anyway, I don't think age matters much, but still xD If you wanna know what kind of players we are, keep reading, if not, well, don't I'm usually a supportive player, in Team Car Jack City for example I'll follow teammembers around in a car who steal target cars, and give them a lift to the next one after they drop it off, as well as "escorting" them on the way (naturally I can't guarantee a totally safe travel cos I'm not Superman) and harassing enemies where possible to keep them off teammates, or target cars. In other modes I do my best to give others plenty of opportunity to get in my vehicle so noone is left behind, exceptions are when those people are being morons (shooting at my car for example), running the other way, or whatever. Also you might wanna know that I don't go mental on you if you hit my car once, or you bump into me while I'm on foot (not too hard then), accidents happen, I know. Lastly, I try to put myself on the line if others are really in trouble, sometimes even when it's hopeless My brother is a bit like me, but keeps it more casual and to himself, though he's pretty much a fair and just player and definitely not an arse, we both do what we can to be valuable teammembers. I'd like to see you there then, rest assured I'll make sure I can get into contact as soon as I'm on again BTW, what game modes do you play most? Co-op? Free-for-all modes? Teams? EDIT: BOCABAY, that's great ^^ Tactics always FTW! (unless you got a friggin army ofcourse xD) Oeh oeh, someone tell me, does something like a "tactical gung ho" exist? Little reminder here for everyone reading this: don't forget that me AND my brother play under HIS name, BigMistake, until we get a working headset/mic for compatible with the PS3 I'm sorry to say it's hard to know which one of us is playing In team modes, look out for a african-american 'BigMistake' for me. Not played the online content yet and don't intend to until i've played the game more (still trying to get used to the new controls and map!). Friend request me if you'd like or i'll send a request to you all when i finally go GTA4 online. LET'S START SOME ONLINE PARTIES! (somebody start a party and invite all other IV players on your list!) Either wreaking havok in the city as a group or just exploring/goofing off (maybe bowl/shoot pool?). Add me if that sounds interesting to you.
