Resolution Problems (crop, offset)

ive just nocticed that my PS3 is not displaying gta4 on the screen right.

 

the bottom right is being cropped, i.e. the mobile phone is half shown.

 

Playing on a Samsung BW 206 (native res is 1680x1050)

So it looks like the PS3 is trying to display the game at 1920x1080

and the monitor is not auto scaling down.

 

 

Any suggestions??

 

 

 

PS:i'll try turning off PS3 upscaling when i get home (@ work atm).

Its meant to show only half of it, if you wanna type a phone number just press up again and it will show the rest of the phone.
