spiderman3000ultimo3
And are there any jaggies in the VGA 720p mode? Because I haven't seen any jaggies in IGN screenshots. Again for the 360 version.
The-end
HI, I play in 720p on my 19 inch wide screen monitor. No problems for me, and I have not noticed any jaggies problems either.
spiderman3000ultimo3
thanks but i'm talking about CRT monitor without widescreen and i get letterbox effect but it supports 720p. Will it look the same as yours,the-end?(if it does look good in your monitor)
kaliberrrr
i suggest investing in a dvi monitor and then getting a dvi to hdmi converter

brinkstar
the only problem ive seen when playing it on a hd mointor is that it isnt displayed in trou 16:9. its 16:10, so you do see just a little scrunching, but not that much that its totaly noticable. you have to stair for a couple mins at a non moving screen to notice. so i would say, its just fine. xer0er
Using my setup, my monitor shows better quality running 360 with VGA, than the PS3 with HDMI-> DVI. I find 1280x1024 widescreen works best with 360+VGA for GTA IV.
spiderman3000ultimo3
The 1280 x 1024 stretches my monitor. So, I will choose 1280 x 720(720p). Will there be any jaggies or graphical problems.Since I'm going to get GTA 4 this Tuesday(taking a day off).

It's less width in pixels, so your monitor will be stretching it out further..
spiderman3000ultimo3
nope. It doesnt. I'm writing this post in 1280 x 720 resolution and it looks fine with no streching just black bars on top and bottom. But it's good!
