Anyone else really good at GTA4?

Not much to be saying here, but this game has come pretty easy for me. I normally pass missions on the first try, if not the second, and the only real advice I've used from this forum is the boat trick on "Snow Storm". I've had under ten deaths and only one in the past ten or so missions. It's challenging, most definitely, and fun, but easy for me. Haven't used cheats, either.

 

Anyone else NOT having trouble?

I'm finding the game much easier than previous GTAs. I don't even bother with wanted ratings, I usually just keep going to my destination and my rating is gone by the time I'm there, lol.

Taxi to mission giver, grab mission. Taxi to mission destination, steal car/kill guys/kidnap woman, taxi back to mission ending.

The game is probably too easy in my opinion. The new gun fight style is amazingly well done, but makes shooting way too easy. All you need to do is hide behind something, lock onto someone, aim where their head would be, wait for them to pop out and then tap the fire button, winrar.

Hardest mission I've come across so far was Pegorino's Pride. I just could never get the timing right, the landscape was crap and I rolled the car once.

Yeah, easy game really. As long as you take your time with missions, unless they're timed ones of course, you can own this game.

The game is pretty easy so far. I'm up to the mission where you have to pick up some coke for Elizabeta, and I've only died once. Haven't been busted yet, either.

Well, yeah, the only reason I've ranked so many kills is because I am used to running in and shooting everyone. In this one, you gotta take cover.

 

Learned how to work with it now and I'm doing better, hence one death in ten missions.

I think its pretty easy. But when you get like 5-6 stars on you, the chase is hard. I like the chases now, their intense. And the shooting system is definitely easier and better than previous games.

I made it to 30% with only a few deaths and only one bust. The bust was really hard on me - I had forgotten you lose your weapons. I probably had at least $10K invested.

 

I feel like I'm really good at it, but I'm also not playing for perfect stats or so I can brag / impress others. I've seen people in past GTA games post their stat screens with phenomenal records, zero deaths, etc etc - but that just doesn't appeal to me.

I kept reading about how hard 'that' mission was in the press. I didn't know there was a boat trick or anything, just got on the road and lost the cops.

I've died about 7 times, and busted 3 times.

 

I've only really died intentionally, or by the cops. No in missions deaths yet.

 

I want to complete this game, without cheats aswell.

I have died like 10 times, mostly because I forgot to heal before starting a hard mission so I died with one bullet. But yeah this game is pretty easy, already at 40% into it.
