The mob isn't more respected because they stay quiet.. there is more to it than that. And nobody wants the mob around, anyway. So I wouldn't really say they are "respected". And who cares if gangs that wear colors are retarded? They are part of NYC so the tc was saying it should have been in the game, not to mention it was in past gta games. e2thejdot Posted May 2, 2008 Share Posted May 2, 2008 There are gangs in GTAIV. Just because they don't wear big colorful bandanas saying "Hey, I'm in a gang" doesn't mean they aren't there. The bikers roll together, the mafia rolls together.. even the Russians in Niko's neighborhood. Attack one and usually more will come after you. In Little Italy I actually had a a mafia character come up to me in a suit and tell me I was in the wrong part of town. When I started fighting him, two more came out of nowhere. Also, gangs being as open about their gangliness a la San Andreas wouldn't work in the City IMO. You''d end up shooting a guy in a suit and then find out he was gang member.
