GTA3Freak-2001
I don't see why it shouldn't, where'd you hear this from? Maybe if the TV is an old PAL only TV it could cause issues with a NTSC consoles? stingray.
I was about to post a topic regarding this. Bought IV yesterday, and sadly, it didn't work. Apparently, I've got the PAL version, which requires 576p, whereas my SD TV supports 480p. I've got three TVs at home, and it didn't work on a single one. Even my parents' 50-53'' (not sure) Sony Grand Wega gave up on me. I don't know much about this resolution stuff, so do you guys think that if I buy SCPH-10490 cables, I can make it work? I'm completely bummed right now. edit: By the way, this is the TV in my parents' room: The 50-53 inch version. This is not the exact model, but it does resemble very closely to it.
