Should I Keep Playing?

Recommended Posts

Well I have a 60g PS3, and i have been reading all of the recent problems with GTA4 running on 60g PS3s. I want to know if i should continue playing the game, because i have been having some freezing/skipping issues too. I have played my game for about a little over 24hrs now (Not all together!) and my game has only froze on my once, so i had to restart the system, and 1 thing i have been noticing is if I play the game too long, or if i don't give my system a break, the game will start skipping frequently( like it will be small game freezes: 1-3 sec long about every 30-40 sec during gameplay). I have heard stuff about what happens if you keep playing it with these issues like stuff such as the bluray reader not working anymore, or the game freezes while loading. I have also heard that with 60g models the bluray reader will quit working until you leave your system off for awhile. Most of these problems seem like system strain from playing too long to me...So...., should i keeping playing this game everyday? These issues do not bug me one bit, gameplay has been as smooth as it can be aside from the skipping it does sometimes, which is rare on my game. I am just at fear of my PS3 breaking somehow.

What kind of a question is that?

You don't have time to make a rhetoric break, so, assuming you don't have to do anything else in your life except playing GTA IV, like everyone on these forums, you're addicted and you'll keep on playing anyways.

Good decision.
