Camera too low

Is it just me that feel the camera is a too low in all three chase cameras? It is often near impossible to see the traffic ahead because the view is bocked by your own car. Especially coming over a hill you see nothing. When I drive now I constantly try to raise the camera by pulling back on the right stick but that is akward in car chases. I guess there is no way of changing the default camera settings, right?

if you hit select (well.. the button opposite the start button) your view kicks back and its easier to view, not completely fixed, but its easier. Same goes when you're riding shotgun shooting lead.

 

for the xbox release anyway, not sure about ps3
