I would laugh my ass off really bad but its not nice so sorry about your loss but there are ways to fix a RROD you know

1- Put one towel down, put the 360 on top, add another towel on top, cover all sides/backs/etc. This is key, you have to have that Xbox covered. When you can’t see it, finger around to find the power button and turn it on. Wait 10-15 minutes. I started at 5:22am, and then started to do crap on the computer to kill time.

2- Then I got so into other stuff, I ended up turning the system off at 5:37am, so I did the full 15 minutes, no biggie. Now it was..

3- Cool down time. I waited 15 minutes before turning back on the system as recommended.

I do know that method works it worked on my uncles Xbox 360

but i would not know cuz i have a ps3 that_guy2057_evilgrin.gif

Yeah copy that, worked for me and a coworker. Did it quite a while ago, actually.

Isn't wrapping your 360 in a towel the way to cause a RROD so if something else broke you could just send it in for the RROD and get a free one. I don't know how overheating your 360 can possibly fix a problem or even be good for it.

Certain Xbox's have a poorly soldered connection that may come loose at high heats, it can be reattached by super-heating the console (wrapping it in towels) and then cooling off after the 15 minute period. I know it sounds crazy, but yes, it definitely works.
