weird thing about gta iv freeze on xbox 360

it happened on my premium when i first got it. would freeze about 2 minutes into the intro, and then get sooner and sooner the more i tried. no RROD though.

 

the weird thing was is that i tried two other games, and it froze for them as well. but this whole gta iv freeze issue is too much of a coincedence - but surely one disk cant mess up my whole console?

 

anyway, i got a new console, i'm using the same disk, and it works fine.

 

maybe my 360 was just buggered and its a coincedence.

 

out of interest - is anyone of you guys getting little flicking line at the top of the screen during the opening picture credits when you start up gta?! each time the picture changes a little line flickers. bit odd!

Yeah, during the picture intro I've seen a line every now and then. I dont know if its anything to worry about though.

oh good, i was just hoping it wasnt the sign of an evil disc hellbent on ruining the disc drive on every console!

I've also noticed the line flickering.

 

Everything else is fine though but I haven't played more than 6 hours or so since last night.
