BrokerZoo
This is for all the New Yorkers out there or anyone who has spent some time there. Have you seen anything in the game that has made your jaw drop, places that you see everyday, buildings, landmarks? The first thing I did in the game was just walk around and look at stuff and I came across the Brooklyn Public Library and just had to stare at it for a while thinking to myself "Fk, I've been there.." It's right next to the roundabout in Broker, go check it out! For you Non-New Yorkers: Have you seen any places that you've been seeing in screenshots and trailers for the past year and get the same feeling? Tell us where, post a screenshot, anything! Galactic101
I dont live there but I have been there a few times and they have done a pretty good job. Its def loosely based but time square is pretty much right. Im still looking for the west village area if they included that they have the east village (Chinatown)

And Then a Cop car ran me over and killed me I love seeing stuff from the trailers in the cutscenes.
Galactic101
I can see it fine. I really want to go to New York. Always have, but want to even more now. Its my 2nd fav city in the world. Only tokyo and maybe amsterdam could match it in my travels so far, and my travels have been far and wide.
Gog
The first thing I did after the initial scene & mission was drive to the "Unisphere" in Flushing Meadow Park. I then climbed the tower & then the "arena" next to the towers. The detail is amazing. As for my neighborhood, I didn't see anything that resembled my area in the game (I'm in Queens). But if anyone has ever watched the show "The King of Queens", they'll see a lot of my area, like the houses & the mall in the show happens to be the mall I bought GTA IV in. e2thejdot
Funny sh*t. I was in Time Square the day before I got the game. I ate at Bubba Gump Shrimp (right near the Hard Rock Cafe, for anybody who's been to TS).. then I went to it in the game. They have the police HQ in the same spot, the recruitment office next to it and a Bean Machine near where there's a Starbucks in real life. I was in awe of being there a day ago and seeing it replicated perfectly.
BrokerZoo
Yeah, I've been there. It was funny how the recruiting office got bombed or something like a week after that LCPD video came out.
