Auto aim is ruining the multi player experience imo. What is the point of playing if you can just hold right trigger and open up on anyone around you without even having to do anything? It requires absolutely no skill to perform such an action, and I hate having to hop games until I find someone who disallows it. I realize that it is good for leveling but it really is taking the strategy and skill out of the game. please, if you agree, beg whoever is the host of your game to disallow it or if you are host disallow it.

You still need to adjust the aim slightly for the headshots, but I prefer playing with auto aim off.

I totally disagree... for me aiming with an analog stick is really crappy. When I play with autoaim i concetrate on taking cover, jumping, hiding i can think of a startegy. With autoaim off - 2 guys are standing in front of eachother trying to hit eachother from a distance of 2 meters. With autoaim u take cover, and wait for best moment to standup and shoot, the whole action looks far more realistic.

 

Of course i would really prefer a PC option with Mouse aiming and WSAD steering with NO autoaim, but with the analog stick - autoaim is a perfect solution, the whole gunfire looks like an action movie, instead of silly running, and jumping around (quake style). I tried both options and I play only on autoaiming servers Much more fun, and cool looking gunfires
