It was weird because the guy run down the staires 2 flights and then was basically teleported back up to the top, pretty funny to see really. I called Sony and they admitted to having a "known issue". they told me they're working with Rockstar to come up with a patch of some sort. they told me to wait 5-7 days if it continues to freeze. personally, i probably wont play the game very much seeing as i might break my PS3. had anyone else heard about this or experienced it. also, i've played probably 6 hours and it's frozen on me probably 3 times. ive completed the game on my 60gb and hasnt crahed once. Wilddtd Posted May 5, 2008 Share Posted May 5, 2008 I have both 40GB and 60GB versions as well as the X360 along with a sealed copy of GTA (PS3) - couldn't be bothered to play it today and probably won't bother. Will do some testing and report results. Dude, why do you have so much money invested in 2 of the same console? Seems a little too much. I also have the 60 gig, original release, no problems here, no mods to my system either, and sometimes I leave it on accidently for days on end, no overheating or anything else. If you're connected to the Internet, it'll freeze eventually, but I've tried turning off my Internet and I haven't had it crash once. There has to be something going on with PSN (Or the Internet connection) or something that's freezing the game. I've seen this on another forum and it's worked for all the other PS3 users so far. Never with this game as well, although I know that take two did report problems associated with the PSN, so that could be what you are referring to.
