For the people who weren't able to purchase GTA IV due to it's limited amount of units that wre released, i was thinking that maybe me and a couple of great modders can get together and make a mod for GTA Fans that don't have it. For example: we can take GTA III Liberty City and upgrade it alittle and get a niko skin to replace CJ ,and make some missions that were in gta iv,and vuala,you have a GTA IV Mod Any thoughts? aad Posted April 30, 2008 Share Posted April 30, 2008 1 there is already a mod that changes the standard liberty city of gta3 to a higher quality 2 there is already a nico bellic skin 3 whats the use, they will never get the same experience 4 close and lock please. Dont imitate, recreate or copy just get your own ideas. And they are no where near done. Soo, I'd suggest you leave it at that. Or if you're really serious, get some work done on it and then present your idea. So far I have the entire team of Myriad Islands, the entire team of Gostown, Littlewhitey, spaceeinstein, DeeZire, Johnix1, Dutchy, Goin-God, PatrickW, OnePiece, Catzilla, Gunnie, BorisVorontsov, AK73, GRIM, myster92, Puma, game_excluziv, GTADedan, PDescobar and, well, A LOT of other people. It is actually being made with quite a success in another forum (TGTAP) so why can't he be accepted to do the same thing? On the other hand I do agree he needs to put more thought into it. Tell us what he can do, what other mods he has made... And get practise! If what you don't like is Graphics not being the same you are harldy a GTA fan... More of a geek. GTA is about freedom to roam about wherever you want. And I want to roam around in the new Liberty City but still have San Andreas (As I like CJ and just love the whole of SA) I'd also want to mod GTA IV to get San Andreas area so I could see what it'd look like... This topic? This mod? Oh god. Thing is, it's impossible to just upgrade GTAIII LC to GTAIV LC. You have to model thousands of buildings, write millions of script threads, rework every single detail in the EXE, the DLLs, and any data files that have anything to do with graphics. Just do that. perhaps this mod will finish in 1 or 2 years yeah just do it its not even guernteed that rockstar games gonna release it for pc,rockstar games made no announcement for a pc version,only ps3 and x-box 360,and besides if it does release,you might need windows vista and a very strong and expensive graphic card to run the game,and i can't afford that.i just bought a ps3 yesterday.
