How fun would halo be if you couldn't search for games and you had to play with your friends / friends' friends? Not many people even want to play mp if they get it working they just want to play sp. So wtf is there a way to search for games that I'm missing or something or is the multiplayer really that dumb. If you can't search for games it's just a tease imo. I'm on 360 btw... I don't know how to search, if you can, for games. I know you can choose which mode you want to play but once I select the mode, it just plops me in a room with people who are waiting to play... It gives a description of what you are able to do in multiplayer and how to do it. You can invite friends, create rooms, whatever else u want. Otherwise, the game puts you in a room with random people (for people with no XBox Live friends). Xysterial Posted April 30, 2008 Share Posted April 30, 2008 Okay here's what might be happening firstly make sure you're following these steps: Phone>Multiplayer>Player/ranked match>Quick search>Select gametype you will host your own if you do this Phone>Multiplayer>Player/Ranked match>Custom Game>select match However. You will Automatically host a game if the following 2 things happen (even if you use "Quick search") 1)there are no Free rooms 2)there are no rooms at all To take a party of friends into games: Phone>Multiplayer>Party game this will take you into a free roam like place, when your friends join thew will automatically be shown as on your team, from here host can select ranked team games (team only in ranked) or any kind of player match (FFA included) the party will follow host to the selected gametype. hope this has helped.
