DonJuan
I read in one of the many reviews that the cover sysytem was a bit like gears of war and that you could move to other parts of cover if niko was close enough, how do you do this? i seem to only stay in one part of cover and can only move left and right in it
p-s-wii
Yea, you can move to another part of cover is it's close. You have to press some button and to the side at the same time.

DonJuan
Ok so you press r button and you move. I hate the way you cant crouch when your at standing cover and i think its kind of a pain in the ass. Does anyone actually like the cover system? Sometimes it works. Most times it doesnt. You cant beat it when your behind a car with an ak and your covering and you jump up to take out someone in xbox live. But then there's times when niko wont go the hell where i want and you have to jog away like some fool and run back into cover. For me it loses all the urgency of a gun fight. DDR Midian
I like it. For me it works more often than not, but in a more realistic way than some games. With things like Gears, once you're behind cover, you're pretty much immune to bullets, regardless of whether or not the enemy has a direct line of sight to your fleshy skull. In GTA IV if you take cover... you can still be shot, you need to get in the appropriate position and out of sight for it to be effective. It can be annoying, and it can stick you in totally weird and annoying positions, but I kinda enjoy the realism it can offer.
