Claude GTA3
How do I frickin' uninstall Microsoft Internet Explorer? It sends me these "Virus Protection" ads, and made me download VirusHeat, some bullsh*t program, and it won't stop. I scanned my PC with NOD32, and it didn't have a SINGLE threat, so please, help me get rid of it.
Svip
Are you using XP or Vista? Additionally, which version of Internet Explorer are you using; 6 or 7? Because, if you are using XP and IE6, you're in trouble, because that IE6 is highly tied into the system. Sure, you can get rid of it, but it will cause some applications to stop functioning, as some applications calls IE rather than calling Windows' "default browser" when opening a page from it. If it cannot find IE, it will open anything whatsoever. However, given your position, I believe that is a small price to pay for the relief of getting rid of it. However, I am afraid I do not know of any software that can do so. IE7, however, should be removable like any other application... I believe. Cursed
IE7, however, should be removable like any other application... I believe. I'm sure that isn't the case in Vista. On my old computer I wanted to put IE on, but since it was Vista, IE7 was part of the Windows files, and I never managed to get rid of it.
