bugfix Posted April 30, 2008 Share Posted April 30, 2008 I just found an easy way how to get the One Man Army Achievement (40 GP): In case you can't go to Alderney legally yet: Go to the Helicopter Tours in Bus Lane Steal a Helicopter (Shoot the pilot and get in) Fly to Alderney - You get a six star wanted level Now just fly around for 5 minutes - nothing will happen to you, atleast when I did there were no helicopters and stuff and all the police was on the ground. Agravice Posted April 30, 2008 Share Posted April 30, 2008 lol I was just going to post my method for an easy 6 star achievement. take the pedestrian sidewalk over the algonquin bridge (before the other island is unlocked) and hop across on to the subway line. all the traffic is actually on the two lanes above the train tracks. once you get far enough over and get 6 stars the only police that will come will be on the bridge deck above you. no one comes down the train tracks, no choppers shoot can shoot at you or anything. it's cake with this method. Wow thanks! It works ! EDIT: I also sugest that when the stars appear you walk back to where the big pilar is. if you go sit behind it it's impossible for them to shoot you! It's not that I can't get away, it's the fact that I can't give myself 4 stars....What can I do, also if you guys have an easy method to this achievement it will be appreciated. I once got 4 stars just for being on the runway of the airport, was way in the beginning though. Go right up to the cops guarding the bridge and then jump onto the subway platform that is under the bridge. And hid. I had to move a few times because a cop or 2 did come onto the the subway bridge. chrrwill Posted May 1, 2008 Share Posted May 1, 2008 I didn't have a problem getting the 4 star achievement at the airport. You get 4 stars just by entering and the airfield is large enough to drive around in without having to worry about being surrounded by cops. Just enter, drive to the farthest edge, and then haul ass along that edge. To be honest, I was just dicking around with the wanted stars and kinda accidently got that one. AwoL Dude Posted May 1, 2008 Share Posted May 1, 2008 soon as i get home i'am gunna try that 6 star tactic...nice 1 peeps to get 4 stars i just started burning bods with molatovs right outside the safehouse, when the cops showed up i killed them until i had a 4 star wanted level, then jumped in one of the empty cop cars and did the off, drive really fast heading North till u start seeing cops coming from the North on your radar, then hang a right and head East, by then u should be out of range on the radar, jump out near an alley way and run in there and hide up till the stars go away, easy and with no dodgy bridge stuff.....lol Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
