Actually, if you plug in your XBOX Live headset, you can talk to any pedestrian or NPC you come across. All you have to do is lock-on to them and then speak through the headset. The fine people at R* have over eight thousand (8,000) standing by at the R* headquarters. What are these people used for? Well, each one of these people represents a pedestrian, NPC, etc . . . When you lock-on to the person you want to talk to it signals the R* representative who then listens in as you speak through the headset. They then will respond back. It is really, truly, a remarkable new feature to be brought to a video game. It just adds that extra element of realism and immersion.
